Don’t you worry, don’t you worry.
- Jams of an Architectural Designer
Finally saw the Great Gatsby on Friday and while I’m lukewarm about it overall, I loved the set, super-saturated scenes and characters, and sampling going on in the soundtrack.
Still jammin to Crazy in Love remix. Have a listen if you haven’t yet.
Don’t mind me, just losing my mind over here.
this is a holla to j. martin, … julie and i had a night of beer, chinese food, painting birds, and playing music and we probably improv’(ed) about 20 songs. and then we SHARE(d) them. sometimes she would be on top and i would be on bottom, and sometimes i would be on top and she would be on bottom. hey now, on the piano. in this song she is the piano soloist freak on top, and i’m the extremely poor vocals and rhythm piano on bottom. the middle/end is the best part, and pardon the lyrics… it’s hard off the top of your head! HOLLA JULIE (excuse the boring pictures, i couldn’t upload the song without making it a vid)
haaa, I was thinking about this this morning and finally found it! Random, expletive-filled song my friend Lucy and I made up a few years ago. Lord grant me the serenity to accept my weird inner being and also a house to put a piano so I can play at will without annoyed knocks on my door.

What I’m reading lately:
—I love children’s books and aspire to one day have a grand collection:
Here is a link to an article about some great perhaps-future-classics
—I usually read on my Kindle, but Justin is being absorbed by “Atlas Shrugged” so I’ve switched to library books for now. One day in the not-so-distant future, my bones will tell me when they are ready for “Atlas” but for now I’m still recovering from “The Fountainhead.” Someone warned me that I’d be affected by Rand’s writing; that was an understatement.
Anyway, this is what I’m reading now, which I’m a little lukewarm about, though like always, I devoured 60-some pages last night alone:
The White Rose and the Black Dahlia
—This is a news magazine I subscribe to. It comes once a week and covers all of the main US and World events as well as provides opinions from the right, left, and elsewhere. A great source for busy people who don’t want to scour the internet for the bare-bones facts of the most important stories.
— How do you spend your Sundays..?
Now to turn on my lamp, read, sleep, wash, rinse, repeat :)
